Configuring Dual Homing on a Virtual Machine

Dual-homing is a network topology whereby a networked device is built with more than one network interface.

You can configure dual-homing on a VM through the virtual machine settings:

Note: Power Off the Virtual Machine before adding a new network adapter

Step 1: Navigate to the VM settings

Step 2: Click ‘Add’

Step 3: Select ‘Network Adapter’

Step 4: Click ‘Finish’

At this point a new Network Adapter will appear in the VM settings

Here you can decide which Network Connection you want to configure the adapter.
